BREAKING* (*not really)

THE IRS IS A SCAM

a strongly-worded, extremely biased public service announcement

"Evidence", allegedly

  • They send you a letter, you send them money, and somehow you still feel like you owe an apology.
  • Form 1040 has more sequels than a franchise nobody asked for: A, B, C, D, EZ, SE, and counting.
  • You can be audited for a typo, but the tax code itself is 6,871 pages of typos.
  • "Estimated payments" is just a fancy way of saying "pay us before we've decided what you owe."
  • Nobody has ever seen an IRS mascot. We have a squirrel. They have nothing. Suspicious.
